Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It's terrible. Completely worthless, even as a toy. It makes loud static the entire time it's on. There's no way to adjust it. Don't waste your money on this intercom set. Go to Radio Shack and get one that works. If your kid is into iCarly, go to the dollar store and get your kid some iCarly stickers to put on an intercom kit that works.

I bought this for my daughters this past Christmas and paid 19.99 at tru. It is not worth 2.99, all it does is make very loud static the entire time it is on. You can talk when you push the talk button but if you are not talking then it is just loud static on both ends so you just shut it off anyway. I wanted to leave it on so I can talk to them if they are in their room, but there is no way anyone can handle leaving it on and listening to that static noise constantly.

Do yourself a favor and don't spend this much money on this product. Yes it's great because I am having a new baby and I will be able to get my oldest daughter's attention without yelling upstairs, but Toys r us sells this for just 19.99. Always shop around before spending money.
